Children all over the world have were impacted by closed playgrounds, limited opportunities to play with peers, excessive time indoors on screens while parents worked, and playing with adults more than their peers. There is even a term that people are using to describe the impact it has had on child development - Pandemic Babies.

If you are the parent of a preschooler or toddler and think that your child may not be where they should be given their age, this is the webinar for you!

In this two hour webinar we will cover:

  • What it looks like when your child struggles to play
  • Behaviors of children who struggle to engage with the world around them
  • Strategies to play mindfully with your child to develop self regulation and play skills
  • How to stop overhelping and start empowering your struggling child
  • When to seek more help from a professional

I am a single mom to an amazing teen, speaker, author, and evaluator, consultant, and occupational therapist with 19 years experience specializing in sensory integration and learning. I work with children and their parents to build the sensory foundations for self regulation and learning through thoughtful exercises, activities, and collaborative interactions with parents and children. Sometimes just understanding how to play differently helps you to give your child the sensory and movement experiences they need to feel safe in their body, supported, and empowered to engage with the world around them. I love sharing this gift with parents and children. While there are children who need direct therapy and intervention, they make the most progress when the people they spend the most time with can crack the cod to supporting their growth and well being. We all want to feel safe, happy, loved, and confident in who we are. I hope to be able to give parents the tools and strategies to make this a reality for their children.
